Shameka Williams is a dynamic speaker, business strategy consultant, life, trauma and grief coach. She is passionate about guiding individuals to maximize their time and resources, helping them navigate personal and professional transitions with intention and strategy. As a serial entrepreneur, she understands the importance of being deliberate in both business and life to achieve meaningful growth.
Shameka is the founder of Those Without , a nonprofit organization that supports individuals lacking support and resources in their everyday lives caused by loss, illness , and/or circumstance. She is a renowned speaker on grief, transitions, and mental health, frequently visiting colleges and universities to promote inclusivity in these fields. She partners with organizations locally and nationally to emphasize that grief extends beyond death, acknowledging the daily losses experienced through life’s circumstances. Being a grief educator teaching others how to approach death in the work place , churches , and even at home has allowed more individuals to approach the subject most would rather not talk about . She takes pride in every client that she coaches , classes she teaches that make an positive impact on the lives of men, women and children .
In addition to her work in mental health, Shameka is a trailblazer in business, assisting multiple businesses with reaching operational excellence through sustainable business practices & implementing proven systems . Shameka holds many certifications including being a certified grant writer , mental health first aid ,and community health worker. Her previous work on the Maryland’s Governors Commission of Suicide Prevention has helped make strides in the mental health advocacy field . Currently pursuing her journey to becoming a mental health therapist, her mission is to transform lives through teaching, speaking, and service, ensuring her presence leaves a lasting impact.
